Going to Whati!
Tomorrow I will be leaving on Air Tindi for Whati, formally known as Lac La Martre until it was officially changed in 2005 to Whatì under the Tłįcho Agreement. Whatì is set on a magnificent Lac La Martre, one the largest lakes in the Northwest Territories.
Whatì is also going to be the host community for the 10th Tłįchǫ Annual Gathering & 6th Session of the 3rd Tłįchǫ Assembly Session on July 8, 9, and 10, 2014.
